Why You’re Here

Exploring PetPoint Webservices Options or an iframe Alternative

You’re visiting PetMatchPro today exploring options to display animals in your care from PetPoint without embedded iframes. 24Petcare claims that “PetPoint is an intuitive home for efficient shelter management, tracking every stop along a pet’s journey from intake to adoption and beyond”. Unfortunately, you’re here because PetPoint’s iframe to market animals on your website is NOT part of your website so NONE of the interactions your website visitors have with your adoptable animals are recorded as traffic, clicks or conversions.

What’s Wrong with the PetPoint iframe?

Nothing, IF you’re in a rush and don’t have time to explore other options/ideas that may provide additional value. Integration partners have gotten better and better at making it appear to website visitors that the content they’re seeing, the features they’re experiencing and the data they’re entering are hosted on your website, BUT….

Using the PetPoint iframe comes at a price, the data you, your marketing support and leadership sees STOPS as soon as a website visitor interacts with content from PetPoint. This means you’ll NEVER know the sequence of events that led to a foster application, adoption inquiry, a phone call from a mobile device as website visitors seek to match themselves with an animal in your care. OK, maybe you don’t care (NOW), but you will as soon as your Google for Non-Profits Ad Grants Manager asks for the conversion rate on their $10,000/month of free internet advertising – you WILL.

If you’re not familiar with the FREE services provided to non-profits by Google, visit Google for Nonprofits to learn what you’re missing.

Want to Use PetPoint’s API to Integrate Animals Yourself?

Please, GIVE IT A SHOT yourself. We’ve enjoyed the development of PetMatchPro and wouldn’t deny anyone the same experience. We’ve had multiple developers, leaders and shelters/rescues involved in the creation, enhancement and use of PetPoint’s Webservices API. If, on the other hand, you’d like to leverage our work to enhance the animal listings on your website, use the button below to select your plan.
